This experiential training is for health professionals across therapy modalities and fields including counsellors, occupational therapists, social workers, teachers, support workers. This training will give you a map to rewilding your life and your practice!

Have you been thinking about taking clients outdoors but need some guidance on how to transfer your skills to working safely and therapeutically outdoors?

Are you interested in learning about key ecosystemic theoretical ideas and therapeutic skills that will inspire and support you in your own journey of rewilding yourself and your practice?

Would you like to join a group of like-minded professionals who are keen to connect with others in sharing experiences, ideas and feeling supported in exploring new inner and outer landscapes as biological beings with an innate desire and need to embrace an ecosystemic way of being in the world?

Do you stand for social justice, equality, diversity and inclusion to create new landscapes of practices that are aligned with an ecological framework and an ecosystemic map?

Are you concerned and overwhelmed about the state of the world, the multiple crisis at all levels i.e socio-political, economic, environmental possibly leading to social collapse?

If the answer is yes to these questions, come and join this training. You will be part of an ecosystemic circle, a community of practitioners who are keen to learn from each other and come together to make a difference to people’s lives by offering the opportunity to reconnect with Nature, the more than human world and themselves as Nature. By being the change, we can promote a more sustainable life for all, a meaningful and nurturing way of working for our personal and professional growth which will transform our ways of thinking and practicing with ripple effects in our own families and local communities.

Our Online EcoSystemic training - for professionals

The online training is running in 4 seasons, over 3 full days. It will include nature connection activities so that ideas can be put into practice during the training and after.

The residential training is held in the core of Sussex, a family-led project called Wilderness Woods in Hadlow Down, TN22 4HJ. Various accommodation options e.g. cabins, tent, own caravan.

The training requires a commitment to reading some key articles, spending time outdoors and engaging in creative writing e.g. mapping your own journey of rewilding your practice for personal and professional growth and set out a plan for your ecosystemic adventure. This could be in the form of an essay or poem, a collection of natural objects or drawing or a combination of all. It will also offer a tailor-made coaching/mentoring session to receive feedback and discuss the map into the future.

Whether you are thinking of taking therapy outdoors or you are already working in Nature, this training is an opportunity to learn and experiment the healing power of Nature individually, in pairs and as a group. The training will be offered to up to 12 people.
