Ecotherapy - nature based therapy for all ages, individuals and families

Sussex is a naturally beautiful area of the UK which offers many opportunities to be immersed in Nature through the sea, the beach, the white cliffs, the round hills and rivers, the grazing meadows, and the woodlands.

We are living an ecological crisis so it is becoming increasingly important to help each other appreciate and protect Nature. We are Nature but over time we have disconnected from Nature. Children are spending less time outdoors and more time on screens than ever before. We need to help them appreciate the benefits of being in Nature to increase their emotional wellbeing and for adults to reduce stress levels, feel restored and nourished. Reconnecting to Nature and to each other is an important source of wellbeing. This is why Rainbow CommUnity Projects is promoting Ecotherapy as an effective form of therapy for all ages, gender or gender orientation, racial and cultural backgrounds, and social status.

Ecotherapy for couples

If you are looking for couple therapy, we can explore if EcoTherapy is a suitable option for your difficulties. Couple sessions are offered in Nature instead of a clinical room to maximise the benefits of both Nature and therapy. Being trained as a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist means that I provide Ecotherapy as a form of relational therapy, using nature as the context for change, self-growth and healing for couples.
