Qigong

Qigong practice is over 4,000 years old and blends meditation, movement and breathing.

The name Qigong means 'working with your life energy' and it involves flowing, calm and repeated movement, deep steady and controlled breathing working together with mental focus/meditation.

Qigong is usally practiced for many reasons including

  • General wellbeing and energy levels
  • Improved balance and flexibiliy
  • Relaxation and stress reduction
  • Content to be put together by Chiara.

    NB it would be good to include content that
    1) details what Qigong is,
    2) details of how it helps individuals/ the benefits
    3) details of any thoughts Chiara has in terms of how it can be used outside perhaps also details of Chiara's training
    4) links to any further reading
    5) perhaps some ideas of some of the simplest movements?
