This experiential training is for health professionals across therapy modalities and fields including counsellors, occupational therapists, social workers, teachers, support workers. This training will give you a map to rewilding your life and your practice!

Have you been thinking about taking clients outdoors but need some guidance on how to transfer your skills to working safely and therapeutically outdoors?

Are you interested in learning about key ecosystemic theoretical ideas and therapeutic skills that will inspire and support you in your own journey of rewilding yourself and your practice?

Would you like to join a group of like-minded professionals who are keen to connect with others in sharing experiences, ideas and feeling supported in exploring new inner and outer landscapes as biological beings with an innate desire and need to embrace an ecosystemic way of being in the world?

Do you stand for social justice, equality, diversity and inclusion to create new landscapes of practices that are aligned with an ecological framework and an ecosystemic map?

Are you concerned and overwhelmed about the state of the world, the multiple crisis at all levels i.e socio-political, economic, environmental possibly leading to social collapse?

If the answer is yes to these questions, come and join this training. You will be part of an ecosystemic circle, a community of practitioners who are keen to learn from each other and come together to make a difference to people’s lives by offering the opportunity to reconnect with Nature, the more than human world and themselves as Nature. By being the change, we can promote a more sustainable life for all, a meaningful and nurturing way of working for our personal and professional growth which will transform our ways of thinking and practicing with ripple effects in our own families and local communities.

Whether you are thinking of taking therapy outdoors or you are already working in Nature, this training is an opportunity to learn and experiment the healing power of Nature individually, in pairs and as a group. The training will be offered to up to 12 people.

What professionals said about

What an extraordinary course and a wonderful personal and professional experience this was.  The experiential training weekend was so helpful in enabling me to gain a real understanding of the principles of ecotherapy.  The location and length of time were spot on, as surely this course can’t be effectively taught theoretically in a classroom.  The gradual approach was perfect to build up confidence to see how we could use our existing skills and learn to develop new understandings about how to work alongside nature as a co-therapist.  The group bonded extremely well and clearly Chiara had used her considerable experience and undertaken a lot of preparation to ensure everything was as beneficial as possible to help us each make the most of all the experiences and training on offer. This was a real communal experience, meeting professionals from other disciplines was very helpful too, and I felt the richer for it, again both personally and professionally.  I left really motivated to start practicing ecotherapy and am entirely convinced of its innumerable benefits to many areas of mental health both for individuals and groups. Huge thanks Chiara for offering this course.
The weekend Ecosystemic residential training was brilliant! Such a beautiful location to be immersed in trees, moss, bluebells and birdsong with a wonderful and varied group of people. Chiara's 'minimalist therapist' approach underplays how much her experience, preparation and presence immediately created the safety and confidence for me to play and grow. She led us into nature and ourselves and helped us see that these were one and the same. The experience was deeply connecting in so many ways and has been inspiring in my practice as a systemic family therapist.
...it was a very rich experience to share nature and its beneficial ambience with a group of very gentle and skilled people. To 'experience' the woods rather than question them or ourselves, was the essence of the weekend for me; to slow down and use our senses; to create something meaningful and share this together....and find some exercises that will complement the stories and movement work I do in dramatherapy...
What people said about the hybrid rewilding training
Thank you so much, Chiara, for such an inspiring and enriching three days. The way you co-created the space for the group to connect and learn together with such pace, respectful curiosity, and warmth really enhanced my experience of the experiential activities and participation. Your generosity in providing such rich, diverse, and beautifully curated resources—spanning theory, practice examples, poetry, videos, and images—along with your wealth of wisdom and experience, made this truly reflective, transformative, and confidence-strengthening. Thank you to you, the group, and nature for such an ecosystemically stimulating symphony of development and learning.
Sitting in the woods where I went for the practical elements of Chiara's Eco-Systemic Course, I'm reminded of how the course opened up my mind to the nuances of nature, which can both hold us emotionally and reflect back to us, in its abundance, what we need in that moment.
The theory elements gave a conceptual context for the powerful felt experience of the course. Highly recommended.
